Restaurants

The Log Cabin Restaurant

The Log Cabin Restaurant is located on a quaint wooded hilltop just 10 minutes from the Alden House. A delightful restaurant with seven distinctly different dining rooms, each one accented with genuine 18th and 19th century oil paintings. An American-style menu features fresh seafood, succulent fowl, and savory steaks, all complemented by a fine selection of wines. The relaxed atmosphere, exceptional cuisine, and friendly service will make dining at the Log Cabin a memorable experience.

The General Sutter's "1764 Restaurant"

The "1764 Restaurant" is located within the General Sutter Inn, a stately brick colonial structure dating back to the mid 1700's. This exceptional restaurant, within walking distance of the Alden House, is elegantly decorated in a colonial theme. It has a tradition of classic American cuisine presented in an intimate, casual atmosphere. Their outstanding menu features Black Angus beef, seafood (great crab cakes), and fowl all complemented by an extensive continental wine list.

“A Perfect Blend” Tea Room

“A Perfect Blend” Tea Room is located in the 102 year old Town Hall Landmark Building in the Lititz Historic District, and includes a tea room, tea bar, and gift shop. Tea lovers can come to the tea room and sit for as long as they want and enjoy high tea served in English China. An unlimited pot of freshly brewed tea of your choice is accompanied by warm homemade scones served with lemon curd or preserves, soup of the day, assorted finger sandwiches, fresh fruit garnish, and a variety of pastries. Participants in the Alden House mid-week package also get a special gift to take home.
